Parkrun is a free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k (run, walk, or roll) community event. Runners with dogs or strollers are welcome. We meet every Saturday at 
the parking lot of Thomas Lake Park [<a target = _blank href = "https://maps.app.goo.gl/YWP28dSELCkVmjS98">google map</a>]. The event begins at 9:00 AM. Arrive by 8:50 AM 
to hear the briefing. Following each event join us for coffee ☕️ at Caribou Coffee On Duckwood in Eagan. [<a target = _blank href = "https://maps.app.goo.gl/X1eZUpBEZiUeNpu2A">link to Map</a>]<p>

Stop by, no need to pre-register. This is a no-cost event. If you wish to receive your time, then please

<div class = "sectionhead">Would you like to volunteer for parkrun?</div>
Thank you! We can always use volunteers. Kids are welcome to volunteer also. Each volunteering commitment 
is one-time and week to week. No obligation. Plan for ~ 1.5 hour commitment each Saturday. 
We have many volunteer roles:

<li>Timers, at the finish chute and clocking each finisher.
<li>Finish Tokens, hand out a plastic slip to each finisher.
<li>Scanner, scans each finisher's personal barcode & token
<li>Pre-event Setup, places course markers, banners, and inspects the course
<li>Tail-Walker, like a roving course marshal, walks the 5K course during the event.
<li> Run Director, leads & coordinates the event.
