In July of 2024 I received as a gift, this Apple Power Mac G4 Cube. It's everything that was beautiful about the year 2000 all in a nice little 8 inch cube!<p>
<b>Hardware</b><br>I have upgraded it with more RAM, 1.5 Gb, an 128 Gig SSD in place of the stock Western Digital, and replaced the power supply because the original power supply was non-functional. I also added the Harmon Kardon speakers with the help of a USB amplifier. The keyboard and mouse are the <i>pro</i> models of course. 
<p>
<b>Software</b><br>
My cube currently has dual-boot capability (hold down the 'option ⌥' key on power up) between MacOS version 9.x and MacOS Tiger 10.4.6 making this machine one of the last PowerPC computers that can natively run older Mac software and newer OS X software with the Aqua theme.
